Musing from a contemplative mind....

I received a gift for my birthday and it was a pair of pajama's with poker cards all over them. While I appreciate any gift, I mean after all people don't have to acknowledge your birthday at all, I haven't worn PJ's since I was five and had those really uncomfortable, suffocating, sweat evoking footies on the bottom AND... yep you guessed it I don't play poker at all, ever, don't even know the rules. Its not quite like giving a watch to a blind person, but itscloser than you think. Oh, well I appreciate the love, however misguided and misplaced it is... I am off to Wal-Mart to see if I can work out some kind of exchange.

I just hope I don't get the "how do you like the gift I got you question"... what do you say? I guess, "I really appreciate you thinking of me" seems like a good response, yeah, thats what I'll say. Hopefully that will slide under the radar screen, its certainly nicer than a lot of alternatives.
