The Yellow Rose of Texas

Went hurtling toward the earth in a plane for about 30 seconds or so - we all really thought that this might be the end of us.... worst fligt exp of my life -by FAR
Met a pastor named Icky. Cool guy, cooler name. He acutally invited us to spend the day with he and his family - wicked nice, but we declined
Saw Nick and Marie in Dallas. Two of the more amazing people that you will meet. They don't know how amazing they are, which I suppose it part of their charm.
Dinner at the riverwalk in SA. Table for two on the river seranded by mexican love songs. I don't want to sound like a chick here, but it was terribly romantic.
Spending two days with the coolest 80 year olds I know. Steffi's grandparents are the stuff - I only hope to be the hip when I turn 80.
Getting locked out of our own hotel room. Apparently the little privacy bar popped shut so we could unlock our door and it would open like three inches. So we had to get some McGyver guy to open it at the hotel we were staying at.
Getting bumped to first class. Hot towels, big seat and nice food. If you have the means, I would strongly suggest it.
....and every day being the 70's or 80's. I could get used to THAT.
