Musing from a contemplative mind....

As I sit and watch the news I can't help but think about how quickly that one of the largest cities in the USA was reduced to a third world country. Self reliance is just a lie, a magic illusion, where we are both the audience and the performer, trying to play a slight of hand game to fool ourselves - when we know what the trick is- but we allow ourselves to be decieved; after all, why would I lie to myself?
